Retiring 5th grade teacher, Sue Farber, was surprised today by many former students of her first fifth grade class! These students were 5th grade students in the 2012-2013 school year and will be entering their senior year of high school in the fall. Mrs. Farber has taught several grades in the district since 1986, was a PE teacher for many years, and went back into the classroom teaching fifth grade in 2012. She has made an impact on so many and will be missed! ❤️

Thanks to the Community Foundation of Grundy County, our 6th graders were able to go to Feed My Starving Children in Aurora today. It was a great way to help the less fortunate. We were able to pack 206 boxes which contained more than 44,000 meals and will feed one hot meal a day to 122 kiddos for a year. It was a great feeling to be a part of this project! #teachmorris #fmsc #communityfoundationofgrundyco

Every year the PTO holds a breakfast for our 8th grade graduates. The PE teachers also create a memory slideshow of their years at Morris Grade School. This year several students and teachers surprised their fellow classmates with a special song as well, “Just the Way You Are”, by Bruno Mars. ☺️

“An investment in knowledge pays the best interest”...wonderfully said by Benjamin Franklin. We are so proud of the hard work and dedication so many of our 8th grade students have upheld during their years at Morris Grade School. They were honored along with other area school students at the Honors Banquet, held at Saratoga School Tuesday night. Congratulations!
