Reminder: Cross Country tryouts will be Monday 8/5 7:30-9am at Morris Grade School, and Baseball Tryouts will be 9-11am at Shabbona Roth Field. Remember that in order to tryout and practice every participant needs to have an up to date sports physical. GO BRAVES!!

Update 7/31/19: We apologize for any confusion from our earlier post! Registration Day is for all new students AND RETURNING STUDENTS who still need to complete the online forms and/or make payments. You may also complete fee waiver forms, pick up your pre-ordered PTO school supply kit, turn in any health forms, make payments to your lunch account, complete free and reduced lunch forms, and more!
Class lists will be released next week following this process. Returning families who have not registered through Power School will not be placed on a list. Please contact the office after August 2nd if you have further questions. Thank you!

Softball Tryouts for today (7/29) have been cancelled due to weather and field conditions. Tryouts will resume Tuesday and Wednesday from 9-11 am.

Marching Band Camp will be August 5th-9th from 12:30pm-3pm. The camp fee is $20.
There will also be a Beginning Band camp from August 5th-9th from 8am-11:30am. This beginning camp will be free for the incoming 5th grade students.

BUS DRIVERS NEEDED!
If you are interested, please call 815-942-2128 TODAY! All training will be provided! The entire process can be completed in as little as three weeks. Drivers get paid for a minimum of two hours regardless of how long the route is. The starting hourly rate is $16.50 per hour – the two hour minimum for morning and two hour for afternoon routes is $66.00 a day! This is a great job for retirees, as well as mothers with young children, as small children are allowed to ride on the bus (not babies).

Soccer tryouts will take place on Wednesday, July 31st, from 9:30-11:00 at Morris Grade School! Soccer is open to grades 6-8. Please remember that a sports physical is needed to tryout.

Summer break may have just started, but REGISTRATION time is here! Returning students must register online by June 30, 2019 at https://district54.powerschool.com/public/
Please note that registration can only be completed on a computer, not on a phone.
Registration Packets for the 2019-2020 school year have been mailed out by the District Office. Please be sure to open the letter and follow the instructions for registering your child for the next school year. Transportation cannot be guaranteed unless your online registration has been completed. Students WILL NOT be placed on a class list until this has been done.
