The City of Morris is conducting a traffic study along Dupont and Route 6 tomorrow (8/27/19). If you see people standing along the road or in cars that seem to be watching the kids, they are supposed to be there. Thank you for your cooperation and patience.

Due to weather and field conditions the A softball game @ Ottawa Shepard, B softball game vs Minooka, and the A Baseball game vs Coal City are all canceled for today. We are working on makeup dates for all of those games and they will be posted on our 8to18 athletic website.

3rd and 4th Grade Curriculum Nights will be Tuesday, August 27th at 7:00 pm. Parents may enter through Door 24 or 28. We will start the evening in the cafeteria before heading to your child's classroom. We hope to see you there!

Mrs. Blatti's Class worked on some creative writing today! Students added sentences to stories around the room and then rotated. The stories were very interesting to say the least!


Mrs. Lines' Class made an "official document" for their room about Being Safe, Being Responsible, and Being Respectful! Just like the Constitution. The class all signed it, as well as some Morris Grade School "celebrities."





8th grade students recently learned the proper way to fold our United States flag in Mrs. Lindenborn’s class. 🇺🇸 ❤️

Reminder Cheer Parents...Cheer Tryouts are (8/21, 8/22) today and tomorrow 3:30pm-5:30pm at the Shabbona Main Gym. For the tryouts, transport from MGS to Shabbona will be provided. Please plan to pick up your child after tryout practice time.
