Hello Everyone, I just wanted to share an update regarding the IESA position on spectators wearing face coverings.
From now on the IESA will be following the guidelines set forth by the ISBE and DCEO which states the following on page 8 of the document...
"Spectators should wear face covering over their nose and mouth
at all times except for when eating, drinking, or when outside
and able to maintain a safe social distance."

Dear Dist 54 and Morris Families, at this time we are cancelling the scheduled tryouts and indefinitely postponing our Cheerleading season. This decision is based on the guidance from the IESA and its designation as a high contact sport. Sideline Cheer is a possibility, however is contingent on the other sports that Cheer collaborates with, being able to move forward as well. Any new information from the IESA regarding our athletics will be posted. Please see the following link for the IESA Alternative Plan https://www.iesa.org/temp/IESAAlternativePlan.pdf

Win, lose, or draw, it was a great day for your Morris Braves as we were able to get out and start our Softball and Baseball seasons with the Lady Braves A softball team and Braves B baseball team achieving victory against RC. Great Start! GO BRAVES!!
