For the second year in a row, Aubrey Lines has reached the IESA XC State Finals! On Saturday, Lines competed against 98 of the best junior high runners in the state, topping her previous Sectional time by 33 seconds. In the end, Lines' efforts earned her a tremendous 6th place finish, as she beat out athletes from St. Charles Wredling, Batavia Rotolo, Minooka, Yorkville, and other area schools. Lines looks to improve on her 2021 campaign this weekend in Bloomington, as she aims for a top finish in the 3A Girls race. Well done, Aubrey, and good luck!
