Happy Retirement to Denise Hauge! Thank you for your 30 years of amazing service to District 54!
Denise's Advice: "Be good to the kids, you do not know what kind of day they are having when you see them - smile and be a “spark” to possibly turn their day around." 😊

We are sending this to our families tonight in light of the horrific tragedy that took place in Texas today at an elementary school. When scary events happen, children often have questions and look to parents and teachers for answers. We want you to know that if any of our
students want to talk about this tomorrow, we will be available for them. We will acknowledge the situation and validate their feelings.
Please contact the school if you feel your student needs to talk with someone. Our social workers and school psychologists will be available to help students needing to process this situation further with an adult. Our hearts go out to all of those impacted by this tragic and traumatic event.

Mrs. Scalf’s second graders did an excellent job performing The Three Little Javelinas as a Reader’s Theater to their other 2nd grade friends!

Congratulations to Mr. Wozniak and the The 5th grade band members. They did a great job at their Spring Concert.

1st Grade had so much fun on their Field Trip this week! Look at those happy faces 😀
