Eat Breakfast at School!
Mornings can be crazy…the alarm doesn’t go off…the kids don’t want to get up…there’s no time to eat breakfast before the bus comes…or they’re just not ready to eat. Or maybe your teenager grabs a can of soda and a candy bar on the way to school. If this sounds like your house, we have good news for you.
Breakfast is served at school! School breakfast will energize your child’s day and provide them with a healthy start. A nutritious breakfast helps students be more alert so they can learn more in class and has plenty of vitamins and nutrients for a strong and healthy body.
Breakfast at school is affordable, too. If you qualify for free and reduced-price meals, you also qualify for the breakfast program, with no additional paperwork. You can’t find a healthy breakfast at such a low cost anywhere else.
So, help your child start the day right with school breakfast!

Mrs. Longano and Mrs. Ehrich's 6th grade social emotional group was working on teambuilding today. Each team was required to work with their group members to come up with a plan and build the tallest spaghetti tower they could out of marshmallows, toothpicks and dry spaghetti. In order to win, their team had to build the tallest tower AND utilize every group member's ideas. The winning team's tower was 24.5 inches tall!

For any Morris Grade School students in grades 6 through 8, Volleyball tryouts will be held Monday December 4th and Tuesday December 5th after school at Morris Grade School until 5:00. Any students interested in wrestling for Morris Grade School, practice begins tonight at Shabbona in the wrestling room starting at 3:30. This is open to any 5th through 8th grade students attending Nettle Creek, Saratoga and Morris Grade School. Students must have a current physical on file with their school.
