Mr. Lawrence's 7th Grade Earth Science classes have been hard at work on the Seismic Tower Challenge this December, with groups researching, designing, and building earthquake-resistant structures! Groups compete against one another as they put their structures to the test, subjecting each building to different seismic waves at various magnitudes.
With the 8th annual STC all wrapped up, the latest champions have been crowned: Cole S, McKaylyn P, and Kaylynn C! Congratulations to our new champs and all our finalists!
Congrats to the 6th Grade Boys Basketball team for their 1st place finish in the "Jim Feeney Memorial" Basketball Tournament hosted by ICS last weekend. The Braves earned wins over Coal City, Channahon, and Saratoga to bring home the 1st place trophy.
We'd also like to make mention and congratulate the 6th grade boys on a near perfect season. they finished with a record of 19 wins with only 1 loss. Thank you to coach Steve Lutz for a great season!!!

The MGS Athletic Department would like to send out a huge "THANK YOU" to Dan Brown and Morris Youth Sports for his continued support of youth volleyball. He held a camp earlier this year where all of the proceeds were donated to all of the local schools to put toward their volleyball programs. This donation will go toward new uniforms and equipment!
