Morris Elementary School District 54 will be having an additional e-learning day tomorrow, Wednesday, August 20th, due to ongoing HVAC and humidity issues. We expect a temporary mobile chiller to be installed later today at Morris Grade School, but it will need time to begin reducing the humidity levels throughout the building.
This additional e-learning day will allow Imperial Service Systems to address the surface mildew and grime that have accumulated in several areas due to the high humidity and ensure that there are no slick spots throughout the school.
The safety of our students and staff is our top priority, and we appreciate your flexibility and understanding as we work quickly to resolve this issue.
