Dear Braves Girls Basketball, Track and Field, Wrestling, and Cheer Parents,
Just a reminder that our Spring Sports picture day for Girls Basketball, Track and Field, Wrestling, and any Cheerleaders that still need them taken, will be Friday April 30th at Morris Grade School Main Gym from 3-4pm.
Students will dismiss to the E wing of the school and get their individual photos taken in the Main gym. Once a player has had their picture taken, they are either to head to the small gym for practice or exit the school, based on your coaches instructions.
Online picture ordering instructions are attached as there will not be physical order forms provided. Thank you and Go Braves!

Dear Track and Field athletes and Parents,
Just a reminder that Reed Custer Middle School will be allowing open admission to the track meet (no charge).
Spectators will need to socially distance while in the seating areas or standing at the fence line. Fans must remain masked at all times, social distancing of at least 6 ft. must be maintained, and no closer than 12 feet to the playing area and/or team personnel. Visiting fans please sit in the visitors’ bleachers (East side of the football field) or along the fenceline.Fans should arrive no earlier than 4 PM.

Happy Earth Day! 🌎 Kiddos in Miss Vonderheide’s 4th grade class wrote about the many ways to help our beautiful earth. They also reused recycled items and planted grass seed to make their very own chia pets! 🥰

We are so excited to have Pam's corn dog truck at Morris Grade School this Friday, April 23, 2021 for our Food Truck Friday Event!
Because kids love these corn dogs just as much as us, we are allowing parents to purchase lunch for their student(s) from the food truck, if they choose. Parents can come to the food truck, make their purchase and drop it off in the main office for their student(s). The office will call down your student(s) to pick up the food to take back to class. Please plan ahead if this is something that you would like to do, as we can not predict the wait times or how busy the office may be.
As a reminder these are the student lunch times:
6th/7th - 11:00-11:30
K/1st - 12:10-12:40
(Vavra and Olson 1st), 2nd/5th - 12:45-1:15
3rd/4th - 1:20-1:50

It was a great day, the sun was shining and the bird's were singing as the Morris Braves competed in their Saturday track and field invitational. Multiple PRs were made and all kids from the 7 participating teams were able to compete!! Great Job today everyone. Go Braves!!
