We are sad to announce the passing of Armanette Fannin. She was the 97 year old mother of Sue Murphy, who was a long time lunch worker at District 54. Armanette and Sue were the kind ones who started our milk account/fund. Their donations started as a cookie fund to buy cookies for those who could not afford them. As school food regulations changed over the years, the fund morphed into the milk account for those who needed milk with their sack lunch from home.
In her honor, we are renaming this fund the Fannin/Murphy Milk Fund. Money will be used for kids that cannot afford milk with their sack lunch at school.
Donations may be sent to the school office. Thank you for helping us honor these kind women!
