🏀Boys Basketball Tryouts are today, 10/17, at Shabbona from 3:30-5:30! 🏀


For the second year in a row, Aubrey Lines has reached the IESA XC State Finals! On Saturday, Lines competed against 98 of the best junior high runners in the state, topping her previous Sectional time by 33 seconds. In the end, Lines' efforts earned her a tremendous 6th place finish, as she beat out athletes from St. Charles Wredling, Batavia Rotolo, Minooka, Yorkville, and other area schools. Lines looks to improve on her 2021 campaign this weekend in Bloomington, as she aims for a top finish in the 3A Girls race. Well done, Aubrey, and good luck!

😀 Congrats to our Literary Scarecrow Winners! The Morris Womans Club sponsored this creative contest held contest during Cornfest week. 🎃🌽🍂
Classes in Mrs. Blatti's, Mrs. Dunn's, and Miss Mancuso's classes designed the scarecrows to represent favorite books.
Each class received a monetary donation to put toward books for their classroom! 😁

Healthy Kids Running Series is coming soon! 🏃 👟 HKRS is a program designed to get kids up, active, and interested in running, and our fall session begins next Sunday, October 9th. All age groups and skill levels are welcome - come on out and run with us!


We Care is announcing its Adopt-A Family program for 2022! 🎄
Who Does We Care Help?
Adopt-a-Family is an income-based Christmas assistance program for Grundy County families in crisis. Applications will be taken during the dates and times below. This assistance is also for people without children in need of a holiday meal.
If you are in need of help, please plan to attend one of these days and bring the following required documentation:
Photo ID for the Head of Household, Address Verification, Proof of Income.
