Morris Elementary District celebrated Red Ribbon Week from October 25 to 29, 2020.   For Red Ribbon Week, the students focused not only on being drug free, but the need to make good healthy decisions in their daily lives and stand up against bullying.  To highlight this theme, special events for the students were scheduled each day of this week.  In honor of Red Ribbon Week, every student received a numbered red ribbon.  Ribbon numbers were called and if the student was wearing their ribbon, they received a prize.

Each day of the week had a different theme:   PJ Day “Wake Up Drug Free!”Crazy hair and Socks- “From Head To Toe, I’m Drug Free!”, Spirit Day- “Too Much Spirit TO Do Drugs!”, Halloween Costumes- “Say Boo To Drugs!”and the students had Can Day “I CAN say Peace-Out To Drugs”. The students brought in over 610 cans that were donated to We Care of Grundy County.

Red Ribbon Week was made possible through District 54 PTO.  PTO sponsored supplies and prizes.
