ESSERS III/Reopening Plan

Morris Elementary School District 54  has received money from the Federal government this year to assist with relief from COVID 19. The money has helped towards technology, cleaning supplies, PPE, and materials.  Now, we are scheduled to receive more dollars.  In total, we are expected to receive $1,636,807.  At least 20% of the money must go towards addressing learning loss.  We are beginning to plan for our return to school in August, however, we would like your feedback as well. We have had our initial plan for the safe return to in-person instruction and continuity of services on our website.

The money can only be used on COVID-related expenses. All Illinois school districts will be receiving ESSERS grant monies based on student enrollment.
