Dear District 54 and Morris Track Families,
I am happy to announce that due to Track and Field being an outside sport and guidance being released from the IESA and IDPH, we are able to allow limited spectator attendance at our home meets, while adhering to the following guidelines:
4 fans per home contest per participant only.
Sign up will be done via google form and emailed out to parents before each home meet.
Spectators are to use the front gate near the school parking lot on Union Street to enter the facility.
A worker will be stationed at the front gate with a roster to check in spectators.
The fan will give his/her name along with which player/athlete they are there to watch and the worker will check the names off.
Spectators will need to wear a mask/face covering, and maintain 6 ft of social distance at all times.
The bleachers will be available but spectators are to stay 12 feet away from the playing surfaces and families/spectators are to maintain 6 ft of social distance.
Fans should arrive no earlier than 4pm and not to arrive any later than 6:30pm
There will be no charge for spectators.
Unfortunately, due to the nature of a Track meet and multiple events all occurring at the same time, schools will be unable to live stream the away track meets.
Once again we are very happy to be able to offer Track and Field to our students, and offer the viewing experience to our parents and spectators, however we do want to remind you that this is a fluid situation and changes to the schedules may occur as a result of the situation. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we move forward.
Thank you and Go Braves!
Keith Anderson
