Families gathered for a magical evening of books and bonding during this year’s Book Fair Family Night, highlighted by a special Storytime with the Superintendent. Superintendent, Dr. Marie K. Stover joined students just outside of the library entryway for an animated reading session, bringing stories to life alongside school librarian, Mrs. Marnie Garcia.
The event drew a great turnout, with students excited to meet the superintendent in a fun and informal setting. Families browsed the book fair while children gathered on the cozy rug, captivated by the book, The Scarecrow.
“It’s wonderful to see our students so excited about books,” said Superintendent, Dr. Marie K. Stover. Events like this show how powerful reading can be in building community.
Thank you to everyone who made the night a success! We look forward to seeing you again for another Storytime with the Superintendent at the Holiday Book Fair in December.
